Urology :

The department of Urology is the first private medical college wing in the state of Andhra Pradesh to start the Renal Transplant Programme and a postgraduate course in Genitourinary Surgery. Fully active in providing advanced tertiary care to patients, the department is one of the most engaging departments in hospital service performing over 250 surgeries a month. With a research-oriented approach to departmental activities and academic discussion, students are participative in ongoing library and journal work while gaining field-expertise in urology

Surgeries performed :
Kidney Stone Disease:
Comprehensive stone care is provided by performing PCNL, URSL, RIRS, PCCL, CLT, ESWL and lap assisted PCNL.

Voiding Dysfunction:

  • Prostate related surgery: TURP, BNI, Laser TURP
  • Urethral Stricture Disease: VIU
  • Urethroplasty: All types are performed

Renal replacement therapy: Renal Transplantation being done on regular basis with highest success rate. Laparoscopic donor nephrectomy is being done.

Dialysis access related surgery:

  • AV Fistula surgery
  • CAPD catheter insertion.


  • All Urological malignancies are treated by systematic approach
  • Radical Nephrectomy- Lap and Open
  • TURBT and Radical Cystoprostatectomy with Urinary diversion.
  • Radical prostatectomy.
  • Penectomy + ilioinguinal block dissection

Pediatric urology:

  • Pyeloplasty- Laparoscopic
  • VUR related surgery- ureteric reimplantation- open and lap
  • Hypospadias surgery
  • PUV ablation
  • Undescended testis surgery
  • Evaluation and management of all pediatric urogenital anamolies.


  • Complete evaluation and treatment of erectile dysfunction.
  • Penile prosthesis insertion.

Male Infertility:

  • Vasovasostomy
  • Vasoepididymostomy

Female urology:

  • Surgery for stress urinary incontinence
  • Genitourinary fistula
  • Genitourinary prolapse.
