Standing at just 108 cm, Kamakshi (25) has become the shortest woman in medical history to have successfully conceived and delivered a child at Narayana Hospital.
Doctors at the hospital found no immediate health problems or sign of abnormalities in the baby, who was born prematurely. Dr Hymavathi, Head of the Gynaecology department said: ‘It is rare for achondroplasia sufferers to conceive and when they do the pregnancy does not last long because of the uterus size.
